Semrush Enterprise AIO: What It Tracks, What It Costs, and When the $99 Toolkit Is Enough

Semrush now sells AI search tracking at every level from a free plan to a quote-only product called Enterprise AIO. What each one tracks and costs, what people mean by Semrush Copilot, and who should not pay for any of it yet. Every price and feature below comes from Semrush's own pages, checked on 22 October 2026.

What is Semrush Enterprise AIO?

Semrush Enterprise AIO (the letters stand for AI Optimization) is the AI visibility platform Semrush sells to large brands through its enterprise sales team. It checks answers from nine AI platforms, ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, and reports how often they mention a brand, in what tone, which sources they cite and how the brand compares with rivals. Semrush publishes no price for it: the enterprise pricing page says "Let's talk". Most people searching for it need a self-serve option instead: the AI Visibility Toolkit at $99 a month, or Semrush One from $199.

Below: what Enterprise AIO tracks and reports, how it differs from Semrush's cheaper tools, what Semrush Copilot is, what Adobe's purchase of Semrush changes, and who should pay for which. The argument running through it is that the gap between the $99 toolkit and the quote-only product is mostly the number of questions you can afford to put to the AI platforms, and that number decides whether an AI share of voice is a measurement or a guess.

A note on the name: many SEOs use AIO for Google's AI Overviews, but in Semrush's product it means optimisation across every AI answer engine. Our explainer on what AEO, GEO and AIO mean sorts out the vocabulary.

When did Semrush launch Enterprise AIO, and which AI platforms does it track?

Semrush announced the product on 6 March 2025 as a closed beta with a waitlist. The release named ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek, and pitched two uses beyond counting mentions: flagging inaccurate AI statements about a brand, and showing which sources the models lean on. "For the first time, businesses can directly track how AI search engines and LLMs portray their brand," Andrew Warden, Semrush's chief marketing officer, said in the release.

It became generally available on 3 July 2025, adding Google AI Mode and a ChatGPT Shopping report that shows how products appear in ChatGPT's shopping results; Semrush said it then covered 16 countries and four languages. On 1 December 2025 it added Microsoft Copilot.

Today the enterprise pricing page lists nine platforms in its "LLM Coverage" row: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, MS Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek. The same table gives the self-serve AI Visibility Toolkit five, without Copilot, Grok, Claude and DeepSeek. Semrush's lists differ by report, too: its Semrush One help article says self-serve Prompt Tracking covers AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT, while Brand Performance covers AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. If one platform matters to you, confirm in a demo that the report you will use covers it.

What does Semrush Enterprise AIO report?

The Enterprise AIO landing page promises mentions, citations and sentiment "across LLMs", the sources "steering your visibility and sentiment", comparisons of visibility, positioning and market share against competitors, and tracking of products and prices in shopping results. It joins AI visibility to "GA4 or Adobe Analytics traffic data", checks through log files that AI crawlers can reach the site, and claims to monitor more than 213 million relevant prompts worldwide. The enterprise pricing page adds unlimited prompt tracking, analysis by brand, concept or product line, and "ROI attribution and funnel analysis".

The headline metric is share of voice, and its definition matters before it goes in a board deck. A Semrush blog post on the product says "a 100% score means you showed up and ranked first in every analyzed prompt." Share of voice blends whether the brand is named with where it sits in the answer. A separate Brand Visibility figure counts only the first: the percentage of prompts that mention the brand at least once. A brand named in more answers but lower down each list can gain visibility and lose share of voice in the same month.

The landing page does not say how often each prompt is asked or how much figures move between runs. The enterprise tier lists "daily or weekly tracking frequency", so cadence is a contract term.

How much does Semrush Enterprise AIO cost, against the self-serve options?

There is no list price. The enterprise pricing page pitches the product "for organizations managing multiple brands or markets that require granular insights and advanced technical capabilities" and offers a demo request in place of a number. Everything below it has a published price. Semrush One, which combines the SEO and AI Visibility toolkits in one subscription, appears on the pricing page under "SEO + AI Search" as Starter, Pro+ and Advanced; the standalone AI Visibility Toolkit has its own page. Here is the ladder on 22 October 2026.

Enterprise AIO vs the AI Visibility Toolkit: what the extra money buys

Semrush draws the line itself. Its Semrush One article describes the toolkit as built for "one or a few domains" and Enterprise AIO as "made for large teams or global organizations", with fewer tracking limits. On Semrush's pages, the enterprise product adds four things the toolkit's pages do not list: Copilot, Grok, Claude and DeepSeek; prompt volume without per-pack pricing; analysis by brand, concept or product line; and the link to web analytics that lets a team argue about revenue rather than mentions.

Prompt volume is the one buyers underrate. Tracking 175 prompts on the toolkit costs $279 a month by our sums: $99 for the first 25, plus three packs of 50 at $60. Semrush One Pro+ costs $299 and includes 100 prompts along with the SEO toolkit. Each extra domain in Brand Performance costs another $99 a month. Past a few hundred prompts, or past one brand, the self-serve route becomes a stack of add-ons, and beyond that every option on the pricing page ends in a demo request.

The toolkit is still a real instrument. Semrush's data article says its responses are "captured from real requests and not via any APIs of LLMs"; Prompt Tracking updates daily and Brand Performance weekly. For one brand watching its category on ChatGPT and Google, $99 buys a reasonable view.

What is Semrush Copilot?

Semrush Copilot has nothing to do with AI visibility. Semrush announced it on 19 March 2024 as an AI assistant "integrated in every Semrush project", sending alerts and recommendations to the dashboard. A Semrush blog post the same day named its six inputs (Backlinks, Organic Rankings, Keyword Gap, Backlink Gap, Position Tracking and Site Audit) and said it came with every subscription. It was a prioritised to-do list for classic SEO.

Its current status is unclear. Semrush's help article on Copilot now redirects to a general list of Semrush tools that does not mention it, and the help page for the Home dashboard, where Copilot lived, no longer describes it. Check your own dashboard before counting on it.

Two other things turn up under the same search. Enterprise AIO tracks Microsoft Copilot as one of its nine platforms. And Semrush now sells the reverse of an in-app assistant: Semrush MCP, a read-only connector that "links your AI assistants directly to live Semrush data", available as an official app in ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. Semrush One Starter and Pro+ include 50,000 MCP API units, and every query uses some of them.

What does Adobe's acquisition of Semrush change?

So far, little a customer can see. Semrush's FAQ for customers, dated 28 April 2026, says "Adobe has officially acquired Semrush", that there will be "no immediate changes to your current services, agreements, or points of contact", and, on pricing: "At this time, there will be no changes to our existing contracts and agreements." It mentions Semrush AIO only in passing, for customers using it alongside Adobe LLM Optimizer.

The first product change came three months later. Adobe's partner news of 29 July 2026 said LLM Optimizer was "evolving into Adobe Brand Visibility", which "integrates LLM Optimizer with the market intelligence layer of Semrush Enterprise AIO", with general availability scheduled for 3 August. It did not say whether Enterprise AIO will keep being sold on its own. A company already paying Adobe for LLM Optimizer or Brand Visibility should ask whether that covers the job before signing a separate AIO contract.

How precise is a Semrush AI share of voice?

Every AI visibility tracker faces the same problem: ask ChatGPT the same question twice and you can get two different answers. In a May 2026 post on how Semrush tracks its own brand with Enterprise AIO, Sergei Rogulin wrote that the platforms are "non-deterministic, returning different responses to the same prompt within a single day", that a share of voice swinging between 20% and 40% over a day is normal, and that "30% ± 10%" is "the honest way to report it."

That is good advice, and we could not find the products following it. The toolkit's data article says "no platform can provide exact numbers on visibility" and calls its metrics "reliable directional signals", but gives no margin of error, and none of the Enterprise AIO pages we read shows one or says how many runs sit behind a figure. Semrush's case study of its own AIO use reports share of voice rising from 13% to 32% within two months, a 146% gain, without stating how many prompts produced either number.

The prompt count matters more than any other setting. Take a sample client, Harbour & Finch (invented for this example), tracking 25 prompts on the toolkit and named in 8 answers: a 32% mention rate. Treating each prompt as one independent draw, the 95% margin of error is about 18 points either side, so the true rate could be anywhere from about 14% to 50%. On Pro+'s 100 prompts the same 32% carries about 9 points; at 400 prompts, under 5. Halving the margin takes four times the prompts, which is the honest case for unlimited tracking. Position weighting in share of voice changes what is counted, not how many answers it is counted from.

Prompts are not a random sample of what customers ask, so a margin like this is a floor on the uncertainty. Our guide to building a prompt set and measuring share of model covers that half of the problem.

Who should buy Semrush Enterprise AIO, and who should not

Buy Enterprise AIO if you run several brands or markets

It fits a team with several brands, product lines or countries, a need to see Copilot, Claude, Grok or DeepSeek beside ChatGPT and Google, prompt sets in the hundreds or thousands, and analysts who want AI visibility joined to GA4 or Adobe Analytics. Retailers also get the shopping reports. Adobe customers should price it against Brand Visibility first.

Use the toolkit or Semrush One if you already pay Semrush

A single brand, or a small agency already on Semrush, can watch 25 to 100 prompts on ChatGPT, Google's AI features, Gemini and Perplexity for $99 to $299 a month. Treat the figures as directional, act only on movements bigger than the margin your prompt count allows, and choose prompts before you see results. If you are still choosing a suite, see our comparison of Ahrefs and Semrush for small teams, or SEOmonitor against Semrush for a tracker that bills AI checks by the keyword.

Pay for neither if you have not opened Search Console's AI report

A small business that has never checked how often Google shows its pages in AI answers should start with free data. Google introduced generative AI performance reports in Search Console on 3 June 2026, showing how often a site's URLs appeared in AI Overviews, AI Mode and Discover's AI features, broken down by page, country, device and date; Google says they reached all websites worldwide by 31 August 2026. Its core metric is impressions (Google's post lists no click figure), and it covers only Google. For a local plumber or a ten-page consultancy, that is the right first instrument.

Other trackers

Our comparison of AI visibility trackers checks ten of them on price per answer and on how much each publishes about its method. AIO Copilot, which publishes this blog, is built for agencies: it samples how often AI assistants name a client against its rivals, with a margin of error, and is priced per site per month. Skip it if you are a brand team that needs nine platforms across a portfolio of brands, or a small business that has not yet read Search Console's free report.

Semrush now sells AI visibility at every price from free to a sales call, and what changes as you climb is mostly how many questions you may ask. Before paying for more, decide how large a change would make you act differently, then work out how many prompts it takes for the margin to be smaller than that. If the answer is a few dozen, the toolkit will do. If it is thousands, across several brands, that is what Enterprise AIO is for.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Semrush AIO?

Semrush Enterprise AIO (AI Optimization) is Semrush's AI visibility platform for large brands. It tracks how ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek mention a brand, with mentions, citations, sentiment, the sources behind answers and competitor comparisons. It launched in closed beta in March 2025 and became generally available in July 2025.

How much does Semrush Enterprise AIO cost?

Semrush does not publish a price. Its enterprise pricing page says "Let's talk" and asks you to request a demo. The self-serve alternatives do have prices, checked on 22 October 2026: the AI Visibility Toolkit costs $99 a month per domain, billed annually, with 25 prompts, and Semrush One plans start at $199 a month with 50 prompts.

Which AI platforms does Semrush Enterprise AIO track?

Semrush's enterprise pricing page lists nine: ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, MS Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek. The self-serve AI Visibility Toolkit covers five of them: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Gemini, and coverage varies by report.

What is the difference between Semrush Enterprise AIO and the AI Visibility Toolkit?

The toolkit is a self-serve product for one or a few domains: $99 a month per domain, billed annually, 25 tracked prompts, and five AI platforms. Enterprise AIO is sold through sales for organisations with several brands or markets, with unlimited prompt tracking, nine platforms, analysis by brand or product line, shopping visibility, and traffic data from GA4 or Adobe Analytics.

What is Semrush Copilot?

Semrush Copilot is an AI assistant Semrush added to its project dashboard in March 2024. It drew on six Semrush tools (Backlinks, Organic Rankings, Keyword Gap, Backlink Gap, Position Tracking and Site Audit) to send SEO alerts and recommendations. It is not an AI visibility tracker, and its dedicated help article now redirects to a general list of Semrush tools.

Does Adobe own Semrush?

Yes. Semrush's customer FAQ, dated 28 April 2026, says "Adobe has officially acquired Semrush" and that there will be no immediate changes to services, agreements or contracts. In July 2026 Adobe said its LLM Optimizer was becoming Adobe Brand Visibility, integrated with the market intelligence layer of Semrush Enterprise AIO.

Does Semrush show a margin of error for AI share of voice?

We could not find one documented. Semrush's data page says no platform can give exact visibility numbers and calls its metrics directional signals, and a May 2026 post on Semrush's blog says a share of voice is best reported as a range, such as 30% plus or minus 10 points. The product pages we read do not show a margin beside the figures.
